The Galaxy Whisky Gala returns and will be held on Saturday, March 20th 2027. Join us as we open Whisky Festival Season for Austin in 2027. The Galaxy Whisky Gala gathers the top Whisky Distillers from across the globe to come together in Austin Texas.
We add in delicious food, fine cigars, and festive music to round out the night. This is a fancy evening out, a chance to don your finest clothes and taste the best whiskies in luxury surroundings. Enjoy a red carpet experience complete with a photo op, and even a stay at the Renaissance Austin Downtown Hotel in downtown Austin.

Galaxy Whisky Gala presents Rory Glasgow, the National Ambassador for Glendronach, sharing 7 whiskies with curated paired tastings of cheese and sweets, at the gorgeous Hartland City Club in downtown Austin.
Rory will lead you through a tasting of the newest additions to the Glendronach core range: Ode to the Valley, Ode to the Dark, and Ode to the Embers. He will then take you through a whisky and food pairing of the age statement range, sampling the Glendronach 12, 15, 18, and 21 year olds. In addition to the whiskies mentioned, there will be a few surprise pours and each participant gets to go home with their branded Glendronach glass. Rory is the ambassador for Glendronach, Glenglassaugh and Benriach! Who knows what Rory may delight us with at the event?! There will also be light refreshments available.

Bears For Bairns
Our Parent charity grew out of Stephen “The Texas Highlander'' Harris' love of bringing teddy bears to sick children stuck in the hospital on Christmas Eve every year. He wanted to bring more toys to more children and created Bears for Bairns as a way to do this.
Bears for Bairns’ mission seeks to provide a small comfort for children in hospitals, starting on Christmas Eve, but expanding to other times of year as we grow with your support!
Steve asked Catherine Sikora to join him in creating the Galaxy Whisky Gala as the main fundraiser for the charity. The charity became official in 2023, and 2024 was the first year of the Gala. Click the button below to donate directly to our charity.
